Meet Our Guides
Our guides, Michael and Christian, are both from Germany. Next to their native German they are fluent in English and Dutch. Christian also speaks Spanish. Both love to share their passion for Barcelona with guests from all over the world: the rich architecture by Gaudí and contemporary architects, the city´s long history from Roman time to the present and their passion for food. They have travelled to more than 40 countries across all continents and built up a strong intercultural understanding. They love to meet and connect with people from different countries.
Michael Meyer
Michael is co-founder of The Barcelona Feeling. He graduated from the University of Dortmund with a degree in social sciences. He has an extensive experience in the corporate world having worked for large US companies in trainer and team lead positions. His hobby is photography. Many of his photos are displayed on this website.
Christian Heide
Christian is co-founder of The Barcelona Feeling as well. He holds a dual degree in International Business and Management. He graduated from the University of Applied Sciences in Dortmund and the Amsterdam Business School. Having worked for many years in international companies in sales positions Christian knows the corporate world very well.

Leave the day open for the tour… let this be the thing for your day. The chocolate tour is great fun, followed by cava. Our train had a slight delay, but was not a problem. You will taste a lot and it is flexible, so enjoy it! Michael was our guide for the tour and did a great job. I took older family, be prepared to do some walking (should be expected) and enjoy the small-scale winery. Great recommendations, and they do other tours too. Was a fun day outside Barcelona!
It was by far one of the best Airbnb experience I have had. Christian told the story not only like a friend, but also as if he hasn’t been telling it daily ( passionate and unscripted) :). The whole experience felt well-designed and we were shown many wonderful “off-the-grid” places and told a lot of insight about the city. Would recommend it to any visitors.
Definitely recommended as an introduction into Barcelona. Christian tells vividly and engaged. Additional background information will give you helpful tips on other sights and restaurants.
